Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium golden beets washed, peeled, and chopped
  • 1 apple washed, cored, and chopped
  • 1 small carrot washed, peeled, chopped
  • 1- inch piece of fresh ginger peeled
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 250 ml cold water adjust as desired
  • Optional:
  • 1 tsp honey for extra sweetness
  • A few mint leaves for garnish

Equipment

  • Cold-press juicer or high-speed blender
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Peeler
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth (if using a blender)
  • Measuring cup or jug
  • Glass or bottle for serving

Method
 

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel beets, carrots, and ginger. Chop into small cubes.
  2. Juicing (Method 1 – Juicer):
  3. Feed beets, apple, carrot, and ginger into a cold-press juicer.
  4. Collect juice in a jug.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and optional honey. Serve immediately.
  6. Add chopped ingredients and 250ml cold water to a high-speed blender.
  7. Blend until smooth.
  8. Strain through a fine mesh or cheesecloth for smooth juice.
  9. Add lemon juice and optional honey. Serve chilled.
  10. Serving Suggestion: Garnish with mint leaves or a slice of lemon. Drink fresh for maximum nutrients.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep juice in an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to 48 hours. Freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
