Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sweet potato peeled or unpeeled, cubed
  • 1 medium carrot optional for sweetness
  • 1 apple optional for extra flavor
  • ½ –1 inch ginger optional for spice
  • ½ –1 cup water or coconut water for blender method
  • 1 tsp lemon or orange juice optional for tang
  • Ice cubes optional

Method
 

  1. Juicer Method:
  2. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Peel sweet potato if desired and chop into small cubes.
  4. Feed sweet potato, carrot, apple, and ginger into the juicer.
  5. Collect the juice in a glass or jug.
  6. Add lemon or orange juice for extra tang if desired.
  7. Stir well and serve chilled with ice cubes.
  8. Blender Method:
  9. Wash and chop all ingredients.
  10. Add sweet potato cubes and optional ingredients to the blender.
  11. Add ½–1 cup water or coconut water.
  12. Blend until smooth.
  13. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth for pulp-free juice.
  14. Add citrus juice for flavor and serve immediately.

  • Storage: Keep in the fridge for up to 24 hours; freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
