Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Seapak Popcorn Shrimp frozen
  • Non-stick cooking spray 1-2 sprays or 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • Dipping sauce optional, such as cocktail sauce, ranch, or spicy mayo
  • Instructions:

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Cooking spray (non-stick) or olive oil
  • Tongs or spatula
  • Plate for serving

Method

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Shrimp: Open the bag of Seapak Popcorn Shrimp and remove the shrimp from the package. No thawing required – they can go straight from frozen into the air fryer.
  3. Spray the Basket: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray, or use a little olive oil to help crisp up the shrimp.
  4. Arrange the Shrimp: Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure they cook evenly.
  5. Cook the Shrimp: Air fry the shrimp at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crispiness.
  6. Serve: Once done, remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. The shrimp should be in a single layer to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy.
  • You can adjust the cooking time slightly depending on your air fryer model. Check the shrimp a couple of minutes before the recommended cooking time to avoid overcooking.
  • If you want extra crispy shrimp, you can lightly spray them with a bit of olive oil before cooking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days or frozen for up to 1 month. When reheating, air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes to restore their crispiness.
