- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and cube turnips and sweet potatoes into even pieces.
- Place vegetables in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs/spices. Toss to coat evenly.
- Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through, until tender and slightly golden.
- Remove from oven, transfer to a serving dish, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, drizzle honey or maple syrup before roasting.
- Add garlic or paprika for more flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven to retain crispiness.
