  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • For Sauce
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Toppings
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Chili flakes optional
  • Hot Honey
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 –2 tsp chili flakes or chili oil
  • Pinch of salt

Equipment

  • Oven or pizza oven
  • Mixing bowl

  • Sauce pan (for hot honey)
  • Whisk or spoon

Method
 

  1. Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar and let it foam for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead until smooth dough forms.
  3. Let the dough rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the sauce by cooking tomato puree with garlic, herbs, and salt.
  5. Roll out dough and spread pizza sauce evenly.
  6. Add mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (480°F) for 10–14 minutes.
  8. While baking, prepare hot honey by warming honey and mixing chili flakes.
  9. Once pizza is baked, drizzle hot honey on top immediately.
  10. Slice and serve hot.

  • Always add hot honey after baking to prevent burning.
  • Use high oven temperature for crispy crust.
  • Do not overload toppings to maintain balance and crispiness.
  • Let dough rise properly for better texture and flavor.
