  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 –2 tsp hot sauce or chili flakes
  • 1 tsp butter
  • For Sandwich:
  • Burger buns
  • Pickles
  • Lettuce optional

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, and spices for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Coat chicken in flour mixture.
  4. Fry chicken until golden and crispy.
  5. Heat honey, add hot sauce and butter to make sauce.
  6. Toast buns and add pickles and lettuce.
  7. Place chicken on bun and drizzle hot honey sauce.
  8. Close sandwich and serve hot.
