Ingredients
  

  • For the Cake:
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the Cinnamon Swirl:
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • For the Glaze:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture, add remaining batter, and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar. Swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. While the cake cools slightly, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over the warm cake.
  8. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
