Ingredients
  

  • 8 –10 lbs spiral ham pre-cooked
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ cup orange juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Prepare the ham: Remove packaging, pat dry, and place cut-side down on a wire rack in a roasting pan.
  3. Score the surface: Cut a diamond pattern to allow the glaze to penetrate.
  4. Make the glaze: Combine honey, brown sugar, butter, mustard, orange juice, cinnamon, and cloves in a small saucepan. Heat until smooth.
  5. Bake the ham: Cover loosely with foil and bake according to weight (10–15 minutes per pound).
  6. Glaze the ham: During the last 30–40 minutes of baking, baste the ham every 15 minutes with the honey glaze.
  7. Finish: Optional broil 5–10 minutes for a caramelized crust. Let rest 15–20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer: 140°F (60°C) for pre-cooked ham.
  • Reserve extra glaze for serving.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3–5 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
