  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Optional:
  • 1/4 tsp salt for salted honey butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer (or whisk for manual mixing)
  • Spatula
  • Airtight glass jar or container for storage

Method

  1. Allow the butter to soften at room temperature until smooth and easy to mix.
  2. Place softened butter and honey into a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat using a hand mixer for 2–4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Add optional salt, vanilla, or cinnamon if desired and mix again.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate before serving.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature butter for the best smooth and creamy texture.
  • Whipping longer creates a lighter, fluffier honey butter spread.
  • Do not add too much honey, or the mixture may become runny.
  • Store in the refrigerator for 1–2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Let it soften for a few minutes at room temperature before serving for easy spreading.
