Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup turmeric powder or ½ cup fresh grated turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup coconut oil or olive oil
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ginger powder or ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, combine turmeric powder and water over low heat.
  2. Stir constantly to prevent lumps and cook for 7–10 minutes until thickened into a smooth paste.
  3. Add black pepper and coconut oil, stirring well to combine. Include optional spices if desired.
  4. Remove from heat and allow the paste to cool.
  5. Transfer the paste into a clean, airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

  • Start with ½ to 1 teaspoon per day to see how your body responds.
  • The paste can be added to warm milk, smoothies, soups, or sauces.
