Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe Fuyu persimmon peeled and diced
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. Wash and peel the Fuyu persimmon. Dice into small pieces.

  2. Place persimmon, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and cinnamon in a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and add honey if extra sweetness is desired.
  5. Serve immediately in a tall glass.

Notes

  • For a colder smoothie, freeze the persimmon pieces beforehand.
  • Add a handful of spinach or kale for a green smoothie variation.
