Ingredients
  

  • 1 –2 teaspoons fenugreek seeds
  • 2 cups water
  • Optional:
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 2 –3 slices fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Soak the seeds (optional): Soak 1–2 tsp fenugreek seeds in water for 4–6 hours or overnight to reduce bitterness.
  2. Boil the tea:Add soaked seeds to 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Boil for 5–7 minutes until the water turns light brown.
  3. Add flavorings (optional): Add ginger slices, honey, lemon, or cinnamon as desired.
  4. Strain and serve: Use a fine strainer to remove seeds and solids. Serve hot or let cool for iced fenugreek tea.
