Ingredients
  

  • Pizza
  • 1 pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil optional
  • Red pepper flakes optional
  • Homemade Hot Honey Optional
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C).
  2. If making hot honey, warm the honey with the red pepper flakes for 5 minutes over low heat.
  3. Stretch the pizza dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly.
  6. Add the pepperoni slices.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven.
  9. Drizzle the hot honey over the pizza.
  10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
  11. Slice and serve while hot.

Notes

  • Drizzle the hot honey after baking for the best flavor.
  • Use fresh mozzarella for extra cheesy pizza.
  • Add mushrooms, sausage, bacon, or jalapeños for more flavor.
