  • Large skillet or wok
  • Tongs or spatula
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Measuring spoons and cups

Method

  1. Cook noodles: Boil noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and toss with a small drizzle of oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare crustaceans: Pat dry shrimp, crab, or lobster chunks. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Make garlic butter sauce: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Avoid burning.
  4. Cook seafood: Add crustaceans to the skillet. Sear shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until opaque; heat crab or lobster gently until warmed through.
  5. Combine noodles and sauce: Toss cooked noodles with garlic butter, crustaceans, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix well for even coating.
  6. Finish & serve: Sprinkle sliced green onions on top, squeeze fresh lemon over the dish, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcook seafood: It should remain tender and juicy.
  • Adjust garlic level: Add more or less depending on taste preference.
  • Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of water or broth.
  • Variations: Swap seafood for tofu or mushrooms for a vegetarian/vegan twist. Add roasted vegetables or Parmesan for extra flavor.
  • Presentation tips: Twirl noodles into nests on plates, arrange crustaceans on top, and garnish with herbs or sesame seeds for a restaurant-quality look.
