  2. Cut the potatoes and carrots into uniform pieces (fries, wedges, or rounds).
  3. Toss the potatoes and carrots with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the vegetables in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry the carrots for 15-20 minutes and the potatoes for 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Check for doneness by poking with a fork to ensure they’re tender and crispy.
  7. Serve the crispy carrots and potatoes hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, try adding a little cornstarch to the seasoning mix before tossing with the vegetables.
  • If you want a spicier flavor, add chili powder or cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
  • The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the vegetable slices, so check for doneness by piercing with a fork.
  • You can store leftover air-fried carrots and potatoes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
