Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add sugar and corn syrup, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and slightly bubbly.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Pour the mixture over corn flakes in a large bowl. Gently fold until all flakes are coated evenly.
Transfer the coated corn flakes onto the prepared baking tray, spreading them evenly.
Allow to cool at room temperature until set (or refrigerate for faster setting).
Once firm, break into bite-sized pieces and serve.
