Classic Raf Coffee Recipe

Raf coffee is a creamy Russian-style coffee drink made by blending espresso, warm cream, sugar, and vanilla into a smooth, velvety beverage. Unlike a latte or cappuccino, all ingredients are whipped together, creating a rich texture with a delicate sweetness and dessert-like finish.

Notes

  • Fresh espresso gives raf coffee its strongest and most balanced flavour.
  • The cream should be warm, not boiling, to maintain a smooth texture.
  • For a richer drink, use heavy cream; for a lighter version, reduce the cream quantity slightly.
  • A frother or blender creates the signature silky texture that makes raf coffee different from regular coffee drinks.
  • Serve immediately for the best creamy consistency.
