  • 4 sandwich rolls or buns preferably hearty and crusty
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 1 cup of lettuce any variety
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce or mustard optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Pickles cheese (cheddar or Swiss), or other preferred toppings

Method
 

  1. Cook the Meat: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, season the beef with salt and pepper, and cook until heated through (about 5-7 minutes).
  2. Toast the Bread: While the meat cooks, toast the sandwich rolls until lightly crispy.
  3. Assemble the Sandwich: Layer the beef, onion, tomato, and lettuce on the bottom half of each roll. Add sauce, if desired.
  4. Serve: Place the top of the roll on, slice, and enjoy!
