  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken
  • ½ cup shredded cheese optional
  • 1 tablespoon butter ghee, or beef tallow
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Blender or food processor (optional)
  • Non-stick skillet or frying pan
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Prepare the mixture: Add eggs, cooked meat, cheese (if using), and salt into a blender or mixing bowl. Blend or whisk until the ingredients are well combined.
  2. Heat the pan: Warm a skillet over medium-low heat and add butter, ghee, or beef tallow to prevent sticking.
  3. Cook the tortillas: Pour a thin layer of the mixture into the pan and spread evenly. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the edges are firm and the bottom is lightly cooked.
  4. Flip and finish: Carefully flip the tortilla using a spatula and cook for another 1–2 minutes until fully set.
  5. Serve: Let the tortilla cool slightly, then fill it with your favorite carnivore-friendly fillings like steak, eggs, bacon, or cheese.

Notes

  • Keep the heat low to prevent the tortillas from becoming dry or brittle.
  • For softer tortillas, add a little cream cheese or extra fat to the mixture.
  • Strict carnivore followers can skip cheese and use only eggs, meat, and animal fats.
  • Store leftover tortillas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat gently in a skillet before serving for the best texture.
