Place the cactus flesh into a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the blended mixture through a strainer into a bowl to remove seeds and pulp.
Add 1-2 cups of water to the strained juice, depending on how strong you want the flavor.
Optionally, squeeze in lime juice for added citrus flavor or stir in sweetener to taste.
Chill the cactus water in the refrigerator for a refreshing drink.
