Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots espresso about 60ml
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative oat, almond, soy, etc.
  • Optional: vanilla extract cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel syrup for garnish
  • Brown Sugar Simple Syrup if making at home:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water

  • Cocktail shaker (or a mason jar with a lid)

Method
 

  1. Make Syrup (optional): Mix 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup water in a pan over medium heat until dissolved. Let it cool.
  2. Brew Espresso: Make 2 shots of espresso.
  3. Sweeten: Stir 2 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup into the espresso.
  4. Shake: Pour the espresso over ice in a shaker. Shake for 15–20 seconds.
  5. Pour: Fill a glass with 1/2 cup milk and pour the shaken espresso on top.
  6. Serve: Add optional toppings like cinnamon, cocoa, or caramel. Enjoy!
