Method
- In a medium saucepan, combine the oats, water (or milk), and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

- Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes or until the oats are soft and have absorbed the liquid.
- Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon, and cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
- Once done, remove from heat and spoon the oatmeal into bowls.
- Add your choice of toppings (such as fruits, nuts, or yogurt) and enjoy!

Notes
- For a creamier oatmeal, use milk instead of water.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar depending on your preference.
- You can also substitute the brown sugar with honey or maple syrup for a different flavor profile.
