  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients listed on box
  • 1 box banana cake mix plus ingredients listed on box
  • 1 box white cake mix plus ingredients listed on box
  • Filling & Toppings:
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate syrup or ganache optional, for topping

Equipment

  • 3 round cake pans (8–9 inch)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer or whisk

  • Cake stand or serving plate

Method
 

  1. Bake Cake Layers: Prepare each cake mix separately and bake in round pans according to package directions. Let cool completely on a rack.
  2. Prepare Pudding: Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Chill until ready to assemble.
  3. Whip the Cream: Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form. Keep chilled.
  4. Assemble Layers: Place the chocolate cake on a cake stand. Spread pudding and top with banana slices. Add the banana cake layer, more pudding, and sliced strawberries. Finish with the white cake layer.
  5. Frost & Decorate: Cover the cake with whipped cream. Drizzle with chocolate syrup or ganache. Garnish with extra fruit.
  6. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set layers. Slice and enjoy!

  • Make cake layers a day ahead for easier assembly.
